#Vmware failed to load module canberra gtk module manual
I did attempt a manual hack of the file, but this was unsuccessful, as I was not really sure what I was modifying (I have rolled back to the original version of the vmnet.tar file).
#Vmware failed to load module canberra gtk module Patch
I tried following these steps, but the patch fails to upate the compat_netdevice.h file, I think this may be because the file has changed between RHEL 7.4 and 7.5.
#Vmware failed to load module canberra gtk module install
Re: VMware Workstation for Linux v12.5.7-5813279 don't install on RedHat Enterprise Linux 7.4 Beta1. I did a look online and came across these forums and saw that a similar error has been reported and solved for RHEL 7.4: The log produced by the updater ends with the following error: I click "Install" to proceed with this, but it fails. When I run Workstation I get prompted to install new modules by the "VMWare Kernel Module Updater".
